Report: Konoplyanka close to Fenerbahce move
Yevhen Konoplyanka is understood to be close to a move to Fenerbahce.
Schalke 04 winger Yevhen Konoplyanka is nearing a move to Fenerbahce, according to Sport1.
The German news outlet claims that Konoplyanka's agent, Fali Ramadani, has been in Istanbul to discuss a possible transfer with Fenerbahce president Ali Koc.
Fenerbahce now only need to clarify the final details with the Ukrainian international and reach an agremeent on a transfer fee with Schalke 04.
At the end of June, Schalke 04 head of sport Jochen Schneider made it clear that the 29-year-old has no future at Veltins-Arena.
Konoplyanka made 21 appearances for Schalke during the 2018/19 season with one goal and two assists to his name.
