Bosz bemoans mistakes after home defeat

Peter Bosz was disappointed with the number of mistakes his side made in Wednesday's 1-2 loss to Lokomotiv Moscow.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz believes his side were punished for costly mistakes in Wednesday's disappointing 1-2 loss to Lokomotiv Moscow at home.

"The loss is a big disappointment. We absolutely wanted to win this home match. Unfortunately, we made massive mistakes in the first half, namely with the two conceded goals," Bosz said after the game, as quoted by the club, and added:

"We did not see the Leverkusen we normally see out there. Of course mistakes happen, but not as many as today.

"We absolutely needed to pick up three points today, but all is not lost yet. Now we have to go and pick up points where no one expects us to," Bosz said.

The two other teams in Leverkusen's group, Atlético Madrid and Juventus, drew 2-2 on Wednesday.
