Schalke 04 hoping to hold on to Jonjoe Kenny beyond his loan spell
Schalke 04 want to keep Jonjoe Kenny beyond his loan spell which expires at the end of the season.
Schalke 04 head of sport Jochen Schneider says he's hoping to be able to hold on to Jonjoe Kenny beyond his loan spell.
Kenny joined Schalke on a season-long loan deal from Everton ahead of this season, and Schneider is hoping that the right-back will be staying for longer than that.
"We're happy to have him. He fits well in at Schalke, not only as a player, but also as a person. I hope that we have a chance of keeping him for longer," Schneider told Sport Bild.
Kenny has made 11 appearances for Schalke so far, racking up a goal and two assists.
