Official: Michael Gregoritsch joins Schalke
Michael Gregoritsch has joined Schalke 04 on loan.
Schalke 04 have signed Michael Gregoritsch on loan from Augsburg.
The Austrian international has made the move to Veltins-Arena on a loan deal until the end of the season.
"We are delighted to be adding Michael Gregoritsch to our squad for the second half of the season. He has proven himself in the Bundesliga already and his qualities will strengthen our attack," said Schalke head of sport Jochen Schneider in a statement.
Michael Gregoritsch said:
"I am really looking forward to this new challenge and I see this as a great opportunity for me to play for such a massive club. I can hardly wait to play in front of the Schalke fans cheering us on."
Gregoritsch has been limited to just four starts for Augsburg this season.
