Yann Sommer: 'We weren't creative enough'
Yann Sommer has reacted to Gladbach's disappointing loss to Augsburg.
Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer bemoaned his side's lack of creativity after Saturday's disappointing 1-0 victory against Augsburg in the Bundesliga.
"In my opinion, it wasn’t a good performance by us," Sommer told reporters after the game.
"We knew that we’d be playing against a side that would sit deep and make things difficult for us by giving us no space.
"I don’t think we were creative enough today. We didn’t have any ideas of how to break down their defence. We didn’t even really have a proper shot during the game. It wasn’t enough."
