Report: Birmingham City have a sell-on clause for Bellingham

Birmingham City will reportedly receive a part of the transfer fee if Borussia Dortmund sell Jude Bellingham in the future.
If Borussia Dortmund sell Jude Bellingham in the future, his former club Birmingham City will reportedly be entitled to a part of the transfer fee.

According to Sport1, Birmingham secured a 5% sell-on fee as part of the deal that saw Bellingham move to Germany for €23 million in the summer of 2020.

In comparison, when Dortmund sold Jadon Sancho to Manchester United for €85 million, they had to pay €12.75 million – 15% of the fee – to the winger's former club Manchester City.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to be keeping a close eye on Bellingham.

However, because the 18-year-old central midfielder's contract doesn't contain a release clause and is set to run until 2025, Dortmund are under no pressure to sell at the moment.

Bellingham has featured a total of 54 times for Dortmund, racking up six goals and eight assists.
