Schalke 04 goalkeeper Ralf Fährmann will be dropped for the club's 2. Bundesliga encounter with Hansa Rostock on Saturday, according to Bild.

Per the German tabloid, Martin Fraisl will play at the expense of the experienced shot-stopper.

It's claimed that Schalke coach Dimitrios Grammozis was very disappointed with Fährmann's performance in last week's 1-2 loss at the hands of Karlsruhe.

Fraisl joined Schalke from Dutch side ADO Den Haag ahead of the season and was initially intended to be the club's second-choice goalkeeper, but he might now get to play more than anticipated.
