German injury problems ahead of clashes with Netherlands and France
Kai Havertz and Antonio Rüdiger have joined the list of absentees for Germany's coming games against Netherlands and France.
Germany have been further hampered by injuries ahead of the upcoming UEFA Nations League games against Netherlands and France.
Ilkay Gündogan (thigh problems), Marco Reus (knee problems) and Nils Petersen (shoulder problems) have already been ruled out, and now it's clear that Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz and Chelsea's Antonio Rüdiger will not be available either.
After yesterday's 0-0 draw with SC Freiburg, Havertz left the stadium with a bandaged knee, and it has now been confirmed that he has to withdraw from Germany's squad. Meanwhile, Rüdiger will miss out due to groin problems.
Instead, Juventus midfielder Emre Can has been called up for 'Die Mannschaft'.
