Hecking comments on contract negotiations
Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Dieter Hecking's contract runs out after this season, but he is in no rush to extend it.
After a promising start to the season, Borussia Mönchengladbach are expected to offer coach Dieter Hecking a new contract at the club.
Hecking's contract runs out after this season, but according to Bild, the parties still haven't entered negotiations on a new deal. Despite that, Hecking remains calm.
"You have to see what both parties imagine. What do I want? Which way do Borussia want to go in the future? The outcome of the talks is open," Hecking told Sky and added:
"I don't really care if it will happen in December or March. I know what I have achieved and that I'm a very good Bundesliga coach."
Hecking has been at the helm at Gladbach since December 2016.
