Dennis Erdmann's racial suspension lifted

FC Saarbrücken's Erdmann has had his racial suspension removed following a hearing by the DFB Federal Court.
Six weeks into an eight-week suspension, Dennis Erdmann can once again play for FC Saarbrücken in the 3. Liga.

The news comes after a DFB Federal Court suspended the probation just two weeks until the ban was due to be lifted after "possible misunderstandings".

The hearing appeal on Wednesday morning heard that the DFB were no longer concerned whether the FC Saarbrücken defender racially insulted an opponent during their game against FC Magdeburg on August 25th.

As a result, the German defender can once against participate in football and has also had his 3,000 euro fine lifted.

This has raised debate in some German news outlets whether the DFB is taking the fight against racism seriously.

It remains to be seen if Dennis Erdmann will feature in this weekend's clash away to Hallescher.
