Report: Manchester City have an advantage in Jadon Sancho race

Manchester City are said to have an advantage on their rivals if 'The Citizens' ever try to re-sign Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
In 2017, Manchester City sold Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund for just about €8 million. And if 'The Citizens' ever want to bring the youngster back, they have an advantage according to Manchester Evening News.

Apparently, Manchester City have a matching right on Sancho which means that if the Premier League club are able to match any transfer fee offered for the Dortmund player, they get first refusal. However, there is no buy-back clause inserted in the deal that can force Dortmund into selling Sancho.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will also get something out of it if Sancho moves somewhere else as 'The Citizens' are said to have a 15 percent sell-on clause.

Sancho was recently called up for the English national team for the first time after making an impressive start to the season at Borussia Dortmund.

Reportedly, Borussia Dortmund want at least €100 million for Sancho who is said to have caught interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham. The 18-year-old recently signed a new contract that runs until 2022.
