Ahead of Matchday 8, we have highlighted a must-have player (M) and a differential pick (D) from each game that you should consider for your Fantasy Bundesliga team.

TSG Hoffenheim v. 1. FC Köln:

M: Andrej Kramarić, Forward (TSG, 15.4M, 5%) - Kramarić has been in great form lately, scoring double digit Fantasy points in his last two outings. He also grabbed a goal in Croatia’s last World Cup qualifying match a few days ago which should boost his confidence going into the Friday night fixture.

D: Mark Uth, Forward (KOE, 8.5M, 1%) - Uth had his best game of the short season so far last matchday against Fürth. He played the full 90 and registered four shots and five crosses attempted. If the Billy Goats can start to get any production out of Uth to join with Modeste and Andersson, things will certainly be looking up for Köln.

Eintracht Frankfurt v. Hertha BSC:

M: Filip Kostić, Midfielder (SGE, 15.2M, 13%) - Kostić has gone back to back games with double digit Fantasy points and has regained his top form that all Fantasy managers are used to. After a lackluster August, Kostić has been hitting the mark since September. In his last four games, he has two goals and three assists to get him back into the top five of scoring midfielders in the Fantasy game.

D: Djibril Sow, Midfielder (SGE, 8M, 1%) - In 28 appearances last season, Sow managed only two assists over 2000 minutes of football played. This year, in seven appearances in just over 600 minutes, Sow has already matched that feat. The heart of the Frankfurt midfield, Sow is finding himself on the attack a little more often than he is probably used to. Only a good thing for Fantasy managers and Frankfurt fans.

1. FC Union Berlin v. VfL Wolfsburg:

M: Taiwo Awoniyi, Forward (FCU, 8M, 2%) - Five goals on the season and Awoniyi has already matched his total from last year. He is really growing into his role on the field and with his partnership with Kruse. This weekend it will help that Wolfsburg is playing nowhere near the defensive masterclasses they were earlier on in the campaign.

D: Luca Waldschmidt. Forward (WOB, 10.1M, 0%) - Waldschmidt scored his first goal of the season last weekend to finally announce his return to the Bundesliga after a dreadful spell away in Portugal for a year. If he can find the form he was showing at Freiburg before he left for Benfica, Wolfsburg will be serious contenders.

Borussia Dortmund v. 1. FSV Mainz 05:

M: Marco Reus, Forward (BVB, 14M, 7%) - With Haaland doubtful for the match once again, Reus will be tasked with leading the attack. He has had a great start to the Fantasy season, scoring double digit points in three out of his six games played. A solid return for the veteran who has also done a great job staying healthy.

D: Marcus Ingvartsen, Forward (M05, 5.9M, 0%) - Two goals in his last four games since joining from Union, Ingvartsen should begin to be a mainstay of the Mianz attack. Sometimes a change of scenery is all a player needs to find their way.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth v. VfL Bochum 1848:

M: Manuel Riemann, Keeper (BOC, 5.2M, 12%) - Betting on a goalless draw with some save attempts to boost up the score a little bit.

D: Marius Funk, Keeper (SGF, 1.3M, 1%) - See above. Not very high hopes for this match in a Fantasy sense.

Sport-Club Freiburg v. RB Leipzig:

M: Christopher Nkunku, Midfielder (RBL, 15.3M, 20%) - Nkunku has been lights out this season, clearly taking the next step from where he was a season ago. Olmo stole much of the limelight last year so his absence has been a blessing for Nkunku.

D: Yussuf Poulsen, Forward (RBL, 11.1M, 1%) - Poulsen has finally come alive in the last two matches, two of which he started for the first time this year. In those two games he has scored once on seven shots and also one chance created. Leipzig will absolutely need Poulsen to start stepping up if they want any shot of pushing for the title this year.

Borussia Mönchengladbach v. VfB Stuttgart:

M: Breel Embolo, Forward (BMG, 10.3M, 2%) - Embolo has been one of the most dynamic players in the world at the moment in league and international play. In his last three games including Bundesliga and World Cup qualifying, Embolo has three goals and three assists. His sizzling form should continue this weekend.

D: Omar Marmoush, Forward (VFB, 3.8M, 1%) - Marmoush has one goal and one assist in his last four games after getting thrusted into the starting lineup after barely playing at all. A very good return for the young Egyptian. He has also started to take a lot of corner kicks as well which is always a bonus in Fantasy terms.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen v. FC Bayern München:

M: Leroy Sané, Forward (FCB, 14.8M, 4%) - Sané has been in some really good form at the moment, scoring thrice and assisting five times in his last seven games including Bundesliga and Champions League. In regards to Bayern wingers, he is starting to separate himself from Gnabry in Fantasy points.

D: Kerem Demirbay, Midfielder (B04, 11.8M, 1%) - It is going to be a very tough matchup for Demirbay and Leverkusen but he is one of the few players who has the talent to open Bayern up and expose their weaknesses.

FC Augsburg v. DSC Arminia Bielefeld:

M: Fabian Klos, Forward (DSC, 7.9M, 1%) - Klos has only gotten on the score sheet once this year after starting every game but it is not for a lack of effort. He has taken 21 shots so far in seven starts and will be hoping Augsburg's porous defense will help him grab another.

D: Andi Zeqiri, Forward (FCA, 5.1M, 0%) - Zeqiri is the new man up top as Augsburg works through some injuries. He did score against Dortmund last matchday so we know he has the talent. An easier match also awaits against Bielefeld.
