Report: Kostic move to Newcastle 'not a topic at all'
Filip Kostic has been linked with a move to Newcastle, but a departure from Eintracht Frankfurt is current 'not a topic at all,' per Sport1.
Sport1 has played down speculation Filip Kostic could leave Eintracht Frankfurt for Newcastle United as early as in January.
Sport Bild recently claimed that 'The Magpies' are keen on the Serbian winger following their Saudi-led takeover.
However, per Sport1, a transfer is currently 'not a topic at all' - especially not this winter.
Kostic was touted for a move to Lazio during the summer transfer window, but ended up staying after a deal failed to materialise.
With the transfer drama behind him, Kostic has returned to his best form for 'Die Adler' with two goals and four assists to his name in his last six games in all competitions.
