Nagelsmann provides injury update on Davies after Bayern's thrashing of Leverkusen
Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann has given an injury update on Alphonso Davies.
Alphonso Davies was forced off towards the end of the first half as Bayern München thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 5-1 in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann offered an update on the left-back.
"He felt pain in his thigh, so we didn't want to take any risks," said Nagelsmann.
"The doctor said it looks like he got lucky. But we have to wait and see if he can play on Wednesday," he added, looking ahead to Bayern's upcoming Champions League clash with Benfica.
