Müller hopeful of Süle stay
Thomas Müller has praised Bayern teammate Niklas Süle, who is out of contract in the summer.
Thomas Müller has spoken in favor of extending the contract of Bayern München teammate Niklas Süle, whose current deal expires at the end of the season.
"He's currently performing very well again. That's the crucial thing," Müller told Bild and continued:
"When he's playing like this, he's a very important player for us."
Süle, 26, reacted to speculation over his future in an interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung earlier this month.
"Of course I'm thinking about my future, but I really can't say yet what it will bring," he said.
"I never said that I definitely have to leave, but I never said that I definitely have to stay here either."
