Fantasy Bundesliga:
10 players to consider for Matchday 9

By Rune Gjerulff   @runegjerulff

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 9.
Jonas Hofmann.
Jonas Hofmann.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 9.

Aaron Martin, Mainz (Defender, 2.7M)
German football magazine Kicker has tipped Aaron to replace Anderson Lucoqui in Mainz's starting line-up against Augsburg. Fortunately, since Mainz play on Friday evening, you will be able to see their line-up before the transfer deadline. If he indeed starts, the 24-year-old could provide good value for money, playing as a wing-back against an Augsburg side, who are yet to win away from home this season. Alternatively, you could go for Aaron's teammate Silvan Widmer (7.2M) instead.

Joe Scally, Gladbach (Defender, 2.7M)
If you don't already own Scally, it's time to get on the bandwagon. The 18-year-old is Gladbach's second highest scoring player this season, only behind Jonas Hofmann, costs just 2.7 million and plays for a Gladbach team with a great fixture list.

Nordi Mukiele, RB Leipzig (Defender, 10.1M)
Mukiele will take confidence from his goal against Paris Saint-Germain in Leipzig's 3-2 Champions League defeat earlier this week. With Lukas Klostermann sidelined with an injury, he should have a great chance of starting on the right-hand side of defense against bottom-placed Greuther Fürth.

Wooyeong Jeong, Freiburg (Midfielder, 4.9M)
Jeong got on the scoresheet against RB Leipzig last week, picking up 15 points, and is now set to face a Wolfsburg team, who are winless in their last seven games in all competitions.

Amine Adli, Leverkusen (Midfielder, 8.2M)
Owned by 0 percent of Fantasy Bundesliga managers and tipped to start against a Köln side, who are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, Adli could be a great differential this week.

Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 13.5M)
Hofmann was the best-performing midfielder last week with 18 points to his name and has some great fixtures coming up.

Omar Marmoush, Stuttgart (Striker, 4M)
Marmoush had another productive game for Stuttgart last week, racking up eight points against Gladbach. With 'Die Schwaben' taking on Union Berlin, Augsburg and Bielefeld before the international break, the Wolfsburg loanee remains the best bargain option up front.

Jonathan Burkardt, Mainz (Striker, 6.3M)
After finding the net against Dortmund last time out, Burkardt will face struggling Augsburg at home in a stand-alone fixture on Friday evening.

Patrick Schick, Leverkusen (Striker, 14.7M)
Leverkusen were thrashed 1-5 by Bayern last week, but Schick still managed to find the net, taking his goal tally to seven in eight league games this season. With the Czech international now set to face a Köln side, who conceded five against Hoffenheim last week, he looks like one of the best forward options this week.

André Silva, RB Leipzig (Striker, 15.1M)
The season hasn't gone according to plan for Silva so far, but the Portuguese international should be back on your radar this week. After scoring against PSG in the Champions League in mid-week, Silva should keep his place up front against bottom-placed Fürth.
