Maximilian Eggestein has been one of Werder Bremen's stand-out players this season, appearing eight times with three goals and one assist to his name so far this season.

Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann is said to be eager to tie the 21-year-old down to a new long-term deal, but Eggestein says he is currently not thinking about extending his contract which runs until 2020.

"I still have two years left of my contract, and therefore I don't feel any pressure. It's currently not an important issue," Eggestein told Bild.

During the summer, Eggestein was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
