After matchday 13 in the 3. Liga, many teams have moved around the table. However, most teams are still separated by the finest of margins. After Monday night's game, just 3 points separate 3rd from 12th. Here is your round-up of all the action from spieltag 13 in the Dritte Liga.

VfL Osnabrück 0 - 0 Hallescher (Friday)

It may not have been the most exciting way to kickstart the weekend's action as the points were shared with zero goals. After a tense first half, Osnabrück dominated the second period and looked the most likely to score. However, the Lila-Weiß failed to find the finishing touch. The draw moves Osnabrück up to 4th on 21 points while Halle climb to 10th on 18 points.

FC Magdeburg 1 - 0 Viktoria Berlin

A strike by Connor Krempicki in the 4th minute was enough to extend Magdeburg's lead at the top of the league. His first goal for the club since leaving MSV Duisburg was met by thunderous applause from all of those in the home end. Magdeburg continued to press and were given the chance to double their lead before the end of the first half from the penalty spot. However, a smart save by the keeper kept the Berliners in with a chance. In the second half, V.Berlin pushed for an equaliser and probably should have got one if not for some last ditched defending and outstanding goalkeeping. The win maintains Magdeburg's 5 point lead at the summit with 28 points while Berlin stay in 8th on 18 points.

Wehen Wiesbaden 3 - 4 Meppen

Having been on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller last time out, Meppen this time were on the right side of the scoreline. A game that burst into life just after the half an hour mark, saw three goals in just 10 minutes leaving Meppen 2:1 up. A match that was end-to-end with little defending proved great for the neutrals but perhaps not if you're a Wiesbaden or Meppen supporter. It's two losses on the bounce for the home side while Meppen have now won three out of their last four. The win puts Meppen up to 11th on 18 points with Wiesbaden staying put in 9th with the same points tally.

Waldhof Mannheim 1 - 1 FSV Zwickau

When Zwickau's Schikora saw a second yellow card on the 22nd minute, Mannheim fans would have surely thought that the game was there for the tacking. The home side did take the lead but only in the 68th minute after some rigid defending. Zwickau bided their time and managed to get back into the game just seven minutes later. A resilient display gained Zwickau a well-earned point and keeps them in 13th on 16 points. Mannheim misses the chance to go second but instead sit in 5th position on 20 points with a game-in-hand.

Saarbrücken 1 - 1 1860 Münich

The draw kings of the 3. Liga were back as 1860 Münich were made to spoil the points once again. That's now the Bavarian's 4th draw in their last five league outings. Having taken the lead through Biankadi just before the hour mark, 1860 looked like they were going to hang on for a crucial 3 points. However, the hosts were awarded a penalty just ten minutes from time. To make matters worse, it looked like the challenge from the 1860 defender didn't have to be made. Günther-Schmidt stepped up and ensured a point for his side. The draw moves 1860 down one place to 16th with 14 points while Saarbrücken are 3rd with 21 points.

SC Freiburg II 3 - 2 SC Verl

Freiburg II breathed more life into their survival campaign as they saw off Verl to move up to 15th in the table with 16 points. A 3-1 first-half lead was too much for Verl to overcome who only managed one more goal in response just before the hour mark. It's Freiburg II's first win in five and it keeps them outside the relegation zone whilst moving their opponents to just one place above them on goal difference.

Würzburger Kickers 2-1 Türkgücü Münich

We conclude Saturday's action with another much-needed win for a side down the bottom end of the table. Würzburger's first win in five league matches doesn't move them up the table as such but keeps them in touching distance of the rest of the team's above them. It was a fearless display from a side that might be expected to be lacking any sort of confidence at the moment. Würzburger had the game wrapped up on the 80th minute when Purie headed home. A late consolation for Türkgücü was all they could manage after a rather disappointing afternoon. The win see's Würzburger just three points away from safety whilst Türkgücü drop down to 12th on 18 points.

Borussia Dortmund II 0 - 1 Viktoria Köln

The upset of the week goes to the boys from Der Dom Stadt. Not many, including myself in last week's preview, gave the away side much chance against a solid Dortmund II side. Having defended for much of the game, V.köln took their chance on the 27th minute through Buballa. It's the side's first away win since April and what a time to get it. V.Köln seem to be growing in confidence in recent weeks and they are now just one point from moving out of the relegation spaces. The loss for Dortmund II see's them move down to 6th on 20 points.

TSV Havelse 0 - 4 Eintracht Braunschweig

Havelse continue to struggle at the bottom of the league after another heavy loss, this time to Lower-Saxony counterparts Braunschweig. After a dominant display, the away side found themselves 0:1 up going into the break. In the second period, the flood gates opened after Havelse's Jaeschke saw red. Two goes in three minutes settled the tie before Braunschweig added a fourth late on. The win moves the away side up to 2nd on 23 points while Havelse remain rock bottom with 7 points.

MSV Duisburg 1 - 1 FC Kaiserslautern

FCK conceded their first goal in five league games as they were held by a much improved Duisburg. The first half belonged to Kaiserslautern who controlled most of the play. They were rewarded for their efforts just before halftime courtesy of a Tomiak strike. Duisburg failed to clear the ball from a freekick and were rightly punished by the FCK player. In the second half, MSV Duisburg came out with much more positivity. Whatever new coach Hagen Schmidt said, it clearly worked. Duisburg were repaid for their efforts 10 minutes from time when Frey's shot was bundled over the line following a deflection. A few minutes later, FCK's Felix Götze and MSV's Feltscher collided heads in the Duisburg box. There was clear panic from the MSV keeper who immediately took his gloves off before attending to Götze who was clearly in trouble. Thankfully, Götze was allowed to leave the hospital having stayed the night with a concussion. The draw keeps Duisburg just inside the relegation places with 13 points while Kaiserslautern stay 7th with 19 points.

As always, there was quality and action from all the games in the 3. Liga. Some of the third division sides are involved in Pokal action this week before battling it out once more on the weekend. With ten teams separated by just three points, there is still plenty of twists and turns still to come.
