Augsburg confirm new contract for Oxford
FC Augsburg have announced that Reece Oxford has extended his contract with the club.
Reece Oxford has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with Augsburg, the Bundesliga outfit have announced today.
The 22-year-old centre-back has extended his contract by a further two years until 2025.
"I have felt comfortable in Augsburg since my move to FCA and have developed into a much better footballer here," said Oxford, who joined Augsburg on a permanent deal from West Ham in 2019 after an initial loan spell in Germany.
"I am convinced that my development is far from complete and that FCA is exactly the right club for me, which has given me an enormous amount of confidence. That's why I'm delighted to have been able to extend my contract early until 2025" he added.
