Nagelsmann declares all players except Sabitzer fit for Freiburg
It looks to be the case that all Bayern professionals, excepting one, shall have a clean bill-of-health for Saturday's showdown against third-placed Freiburg.
Three Bayern players afflicted with minor injuries returned to absolve the squad's final training session before this weekend's Bundesliga fixture on Friday. Defender Lucas Hernandez and Niklas Süle were able to complete the full training session, suggesting that Tanguy Nianzou will likely return to the bench against the Briesgauer.
Back-up lead striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was unable to complete the full season and completed some parts individually. FCB trainer Julian Nagelsmann nevertheless emphasized at his Friday presser that the Cameroonian would be available off the bench on Saturday.
Nagelsmann did confirm that Marcel Sabitzer would not be able to partake. The Austrian international, on his way back from a GI infection, was only able to run for a limited amount of time on Friday.
"Sabi is not in yet, but all other players are healthy, fit, and available," Nagelsmann proclaimed.
