Zakaria reportedly leaning towards a move abroad

Bild claims Gladbach's Denis Zakaria is currently leaning towards a transfer abroad, with a move to the Premier League particularly interesting for the midfielder.
Borussia Mönchengladbach are in danger of losing Denis Zakaria on a free transfer at the end of the season, at which point the midfielder's contract expires.

Borussia Dortmund are said to be among the candidates to sign Zakaria, but the 24-year-old is leaning towards a move abroad, according to Bild, who further claims that he is particularly attracted to the Premier League.

However, Zakaria has not yet made a decision on his future and is not expected to do so until next year, per the report.

Gladbach, meanwhile, remain hopeful they can keep the Swiss international beyond the summer.

"We're not without a chance," the club's sporting director, Max Eberl, said in a recent interview with Kicker.
