Ridle Baku has talked about his chances of being included in Germany's World Cup squad.
Wolfsburg's Ridle Baku has assessed his chances of making the Germany squad for next year's World Cup.
"I'm in the draw, but the competition is fierce with Jonas Hofmann, Thilo Kehrer and Lukas Klostermann. I can only influence it here at the club," said Baku in an interview with Kicker.
The 23-year-old scored his first goal for Germany in last week's 9-0 victory over Liechtenstein, which was played at his home ground, Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg.
"Of course, it doesn't get any better than that," he admitted.
"To play in Wolfsburg, even from the start, and then to score a goal - it all came as a great surprise to me."
