'Müller has been terrible for four or five years'

Ex-France international Christophe Dugarry doesn't understand why Thomas Müller is still a part of the German national team.
Thomas Müller has been an integral part of the German national team for many years. However, according to former French international Christophe Dugarry, the Bayern München star hasn't been worthy of a call-up to 'Die Mannschaft' for for a long time.

"How can Thomas Müller still be part of the German national team today? He has been bad, let alone terrible, for four or five years," Dugarry told Radio Monte Carlo.

But Müller isn't the only experienced player who simply isn't good enough for 'Die Mannschaft' anymore according to Dugarry who claims that the same goes for Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels.

"They have tremendous media power which allows them to be regulars at Bayern and in the national team, although they are not longer good enough for that," Dugarry said.

Müller, 29, has played 97 games and scored 38 goals for Germany since he made his debut in 2010.
