Bayern hit with new COVID-19 blow

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has become the latest Bayern München player to test positive for COVID-19.
Reigning German champions Bayern München have confirmed another COVID-19 case within the squad this afternoon.

On the same day as Niklas Süle and Josip Stanisic returned to training after recovering from the virus, it has been announced that Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has returned a positive test.

"The FC Bayern attacker is currently isolating at home and is feeling fine despite the circumstances," said the club in a statement.

Choupo-Moting was already in self-quarantine after being in close contact with someone infected with COVID-19.

The same applies for Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich and Michael Cuisance.
