Herrmann keen on signing new Gladbach deal

Gladbach winger Patrick Herrmann is open to extending his contract.
Patrick Herrmann is keen on extending his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach, which expires at the end of the season.

"Everyone knows that I feel very much at home here. I'm very connected to the club. It would be perfect if I could stay for a few more years," Herrmann said in an interview with Rheinische Post.

However, talks with sporting director Max Eberl have not yet taken place, according to the winger.

"I think Max is a bit busy," said Herrmann.

"The contracts of Matthias Ginter and Denis Zakaria also expire. I would be happy if we could keep both of them here as well. But in the near future, there will also be talks involving me."

Herrmann, 30, has spent his entire career at Gladbach, making 375 appearances with 55 goals and 63 assists to his name.
