Roger Schmidt is currently seen as the favorite to become new RB Leipzig coach, according to Kicker.
'Die Roten Bullen' are looking for a replacement for Jesse Marsch, who was relieved of his duties earlier today, and the former Bayer Leverkusen coach is understood to be their preferred candidate.
However, it's questionable whether Schmidt, who is under contract with PSV until the summer of 2022, would and could get out of his deal early.
Schmidt served as coach of RB Leipzig's Austrian sister club RB Salzburg from 2012 to 2014. He joined PSV in March 2020.
