Fantasy Bundesliga:
Template team and potential transfers for Matchday 15

By FBLThinker   @FBLThinker

After a high-scoring Matchday 14, which saw goals galore, we move into a tricky Matchday 15.

In this article, we take a look at our selected template team as well as the players we can target to bring in this matchday, using our 3 transfers.

In this regard, the word 'template' refers to players who are highly owned, regularly scoring good fantasy points and being main players for their teams.

Below, you'll find the template team for Matchday 14 and the latest Fantasy score of each player.

Defenders:
Alphonso Davies (FCB, 14.9M), 5 points
Kostas Mavropanos (VFB, 6.9M), 2 points
Niko Gießelmann (FCU, 5.2M), 7 points
Joe Scally (BMG, 2.5M), -4 point
Jeremie Frimpong (B04, 8.3M), 4 points

Midfielders:
Christopher Nkunku (RBL, 16.6M), 11 points
Florian Wirtz (B04, 13.5M), 16 points
Filip Kostić (SGE, 16.7M), 14 pts
Leon Goretzka (FCB, 15.4M), 3 points
Jonas Hofmann (BMG, 14.7M), 12 points

Forwards:
Robert Lewandowski (FCB, 20.2M), 19 points
Patrik Schick (B04, 15M), 31 points
Erling Haaland (BVB, 17.7M), 7 points

TRANSFER 1:
Jeremie Frimpong OUT, Raphael Guerreiro IN

Raphaël Guerreiro was rested in the mid week UCL match, only coming on as a substitute late on. His minutes are being managed after coming back from injury, but with upcoming fixtures against promoted sides Bochum and Furth, he seems an essential defender to have given his all round attacking threat.

TRANSFER 2:
Patrik Schick OUT, Taiwo Awoniyi IN

The combination of the strikers is the major point this week as we have many good striking options, but only 3 slots for them in our Fantasy team. I feel there are no right or wrong transfers in this forward section as all of the targeted forwards are expected to do well. In the template team, I have decided to sell Schick as Lewandowski is a lock, and Halaand is showing good form after his return from injury. We are only replacing Schick to target the Fürth fixture as they are the league’s worst defence, having conceded 46 goals. Awoniyi, being in good form and having scored nine goals, has the potential to have a good match.

TRANSFER 3:
Joe Scally OUT, Benno Schmitz IN

Gladbach are looking unstable at the back, and they were exposed by Freiburg, who scored 6 goals against them last week. On the other hand, Köln have good fixtures against Augsburg and Wolfsburg coming up, and Schmitz is involved in the attacking play, playing as the wing-back and putting crosses into the box. Considering the need to bring in a cheap defender to manage the budget and with favorable fixtures, Schmitz represents a good value option.
