Hofmann to miss the rest of 2021
Borussia Mönchengladbach will be without Jonas Hofmann for the rest of the year.
Jonas Hofmann will miss Borussia Mönchengladbach's last two games of the year due to a knee injury.
"Jonas Hofmann cannot put off the need for knee surgery any longer, and so this procedure will take place on Tuesday," said Gladbach in a statement.
"As a result, he is ruled out of Gladbach’s upcoming Bundesliga matches against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday evening (18:30 CET) and against TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday (15:30 CET)."
Hofmann has scored seven goals in 14 Bundesliga games this season.
