Reports: Leipzig set to loan out Brobbey

German footballing magazine Kicker now confirms reports surfacing earlier in the day in "Sport Bild".

RB Leipzig are apparently preparing to send Dutch attacker Brian Brobbey back to Ajax Amsterdam on loan.
After just 14 appearances (two starts) across all competitions during his half year in German football, Brian Brobbey appears headed back to Ajax in order to secure more playing time. RB Leipzig have reportedly concluded that the wasn't adequate room for the 19-year-old on the their current roster.

Brobbey did not score a goal in the colors of his new club, but did furnish two assists in the league and one in the Champions' League group stage. The youngster started a total two matches for the German Red Bulls. Many other appearances were in late relief. Brobbey logged barely 250 minutes of action.

German footballing magazine Kicker reports that the teenage talent has already said goodbye to his teammates. Brobbey remains on contract with the Saxons through 2025.
