Sané outlines key factor behind rise in form

Leroy Sané believes the support he has received from the Bayern München bosses has played a key role in his rise in form in the first half of the season.
After a somewhat underwhelming first season at Bayern München, Leroy Sané seems to have found his feet.

In an interview with Bild am Sonntag, the winger explains that the continued backing from the club has helped him get back to his best.

"The entire club management and [former club president] Uli Hoeneß contacted me with their absolute support," Sané told Bild am Sonntag.

"To be given that kind of encouragement is not something to take for granted."

Since Julian Nagelsmann took over as coach last summer, Sané has scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists in 26 games.

"We have a great relationship," Sané said.

"He's always showing me how I can do even better in his system, and how we can improve together as a team."
