Frankfurt boss confirms Jovic signing

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Bruno Hübner says the club will take advantage of the purchase option in Luka Jovic's loan deal and sign him permanently.
It is only a matter of time before Luka Jovic will join Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent deal, the club's sporting director Bruno Hübner says.

The 20-year-old striker, who scored five goals in the 7-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf last Friday, is currently playing for Frankfurt on loan from Benfica, but 'Die Adler' will trigger a release clause in the loan deal to tie him down to a permanent deal.

"We will trigger the clause. He will eventually become a Frankfurt player," Hübner told Kicker.

"It is a really good contract for Eintracht Frankfurt," he added.

According to Kicker, Frankfurt will have to pay approximately €10-12 million to sign the Serbian striker.

Jovic has scored 18 goals in 37 appearances for Frankfurt since he joined the club on a two-year loan deal in June 2017.
