The 20-year-old striker, who scored five goals in the 7-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf last Friday, is currently playing for Frankfurt on loan from Benfica, but 'Die Adler' will trigger a release clause in the loan deal to tie him down to a permanent deal.
"We will trigger the clause. He will eventually become a Frankfurt player," Hübner told Kicker.
"It is a really good contract for Eintracht Frankfurt," he added.
According to Kicker, Frankfurt will have to pay approximately €10-12 million to sign the Serbian striker.
Jovic has scored 18 goals in 37 appearances for Frankfurt since he joined the club on a two-year loan deal in June 2017.
