Glasner undergoes surgery after scooter accident
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner has undergone surgery after a scooter accident.
Eintracht Frankfurt have revealed that head coach Oliver Glasner had to undergo facial surgery earlier today.
Glasner was absent from today's training as he needed surgery on a broken cheekbone after falling of an electric scooter.
"Unfortunately I wasn’t paying attention for a brief moment and fell," said Glasner in a statement.
"I’m lucky that nothing worse happened. The face is swollen, but otherwise everything’s fine."
The 47-year-old was absent from today's training, but is expected to be back on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Glasner and Frankfurt kick off the second half of the season against Borussia Dortmund this Saturday.
