Romano plays down suggestions Haaland has decided to to Spain

Fabrizio Romano has dismissed suggestions that Erling Haaland has made a decision on his future.
AS recently reported that Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland told fans that he will play in Spain in the future during his Christmas vacation in Marbella.

But the rumor has now been played down by reliable transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, who claims Haaland has yet to make a decision on his future.

Romano also poured cold water on reports suggesting that Haaland could leave Dortmund in January, insisting that the Norwegian striker will be going nowhere this month.

Haaland has a release clause in his contract that would allow him to leave Dortmund for a fee reported to be between €75-90 million at the end of the season.

Per a report from Dortmund-based news outlet Ruhr Nachrichten, BVB want to sit down with Haaland in the near future with the hopes of convincing the striker to stay put by doubling his salary.
