Report: Bordeaux show interest in Hertha defender

Jordan Torunarigha is being linked with a move to Bordeaux.
Hertha BSC defender Jordan Torunarigha has attracted interest from Girondins Bordeaux, according to Sport Bild.

Torunarigha has missed a good chunk of the season due to a hamstring injury. When he has been fit, the 24-year-old has split his time between the bench and the starting line-up.

Per Sport Bild, Torunarigha wants to know whether he's still part of Hertha's plans, with Stuttgart's Marc-Oliver Kempf set to come in to provide added depth at the heart of the defence in the summer at the latest.

Torunarigha already flirted with a transfer last summer, at which point Atalanta, Newcastle and various clubs from the Bundesliga were said to be interested.

It's not known whether Bordeaux would like to sign the 24-year-old as early as this month.
