Djibril Sow has revealed he held talks with Paris Saint-Germain before his move to Eintracht Frankfurt from Young Boys in 2019.

"Before I came to Eitnracht, I also held talks with Paris Saint-Germain. But I think I fit much better at Eintracht than a place with such a star cast," Sow told Bild.

"Sure, If I were in Paris, I could be in the Champions League every year or win the championship [in France].

"But if you rarely play, what's the point? To win a title with Eintracht or play in the Champions League would be the highlight of my career."

Sow's contract expires in 2024.
