Köln defender set to join Basel

Köln-based newspaper reports Noah Katterbach is set to join FC Basel on loan.

According to the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, the 20-year-old is on the verge of a switch to Swiss side FC Basel.
FC Köln head of first team football Thomas Kessler recently stated a move out on loan "would certainly make sense" for Katterbach.
The young full-back has slipped down the pecking order since Steffen Baumgart took over as coach and has been limited to just 15 minutes of playing time for the first team this season.
