According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Dortmund want to tie Guerreiro down to a new deal and have informed the 28-year-old of this.
The left-back's current deal is valid until 2023, and Dortmund want to avoid him going into the final year of his contract.
Dortmund paid €12 million to sign Guerreiro from French side FC Lorient in 2016. The Portuguese international has made a total of 176 appearances for 'Die Schwarzgelben', racking up 32 goals and 34 assists.
