Report: Milan and Liverpool compete for Schalke youngster

Malick Thiaw is being linked with a move away from Schalke 04, with AC Milan and Liverpool said to be interested.

AC Milan and Liverpool are interested in Schalke 04 youngster Malick Thiaw, according to Sky Italia.
Per the media outlet, Milan are in advanced talks with Schalke about a deal to sign the 20-year-old centre-back this month. However, they face "strong competition" from Liverpool.
Thiaw has been a key player for Schalke this season, featuring in all of their 20 games in the 2. Bundesliga.
His contract runs until 2024.
