Wind's club, FC Copenhagen, confirmed yesterday that an offer had been received from Wolfsburg.
And Danish news outlet Ekstra Bladet now claims that the Danish striker has headed to Germany in order to complete the move.
Wind, 22, has scored 11 goals in 27 appearances for FC Copenhagen this season.
He could replace Wout Weghorst, who is in talks with Burnley. Wolfsburg have already let one other striker go as Daniel Ginczek has joined Fortuna Düsseldorf.
