Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst is on the verge of signing for Burnley, according to several sources.
Sky Sports reported last night that the Dutchmann will undergo a medical at the Premier League club this morning.
Weghorst has been playing up front for Wolfsburg since 2018, scoring 79 goals in 144 appearances.
Wolfsburg announced the signing of Max Kruse from Union Berlin last night. In addition, Danish striker Jonas Wind is set to join 'Die Wölfe' from FC Copenhagen to help fill the void left by Weghorst.
