The 20-year-old forward is said to have agreed personal terms with Dortmund, but the two clubs remain apart on the player's valuation.
According to Sport1, Dortmund are willing to offer €30 million plus bonuses, but Salzburg are holding out for a fee closer to €45 million.
Ultimately, however, €40 million would probably be enough to prize Adeyemi away from Salzburg.
