Niko Gießelmann's contract with Union Berlin has been extended by a further season, according to Kicker.
The 30-year-old's deal, which was due to expire at the end of the season, has automatically been extended until 2023, per the German football magazine.
Giesselmann has been a key player for Union this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 27 games as a left wing-back this season.
He made the switch from the German capital from Fortuna Düsseldorf on a free transfer in 2020.
