Bayern come from behind to claim win over Fürth

Bayern München came from behind to beat Greuther Fürth at Allianz Arena.
It was top against bottom as Bayern München locked horns with Greuther Fürth at Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga this afternoon.

Bayern ran out winners as expected, beating the bottom-placed side 4-1, but they had to fight for the three points.

It certainly didn't go as planned for the home side in the first half as Branimir Hrgota's deflected free kick gave Fürth the lead just before the break.

But Bayern stepped on the gas in the second half, finding the equaliser through Robert Lewandowski in the 47th minute.

The Bavarians then went ahead thanks to a Sebastian Griesbeck own goal after around an hour.

Lewandowski killed the game off with his second goal with 82 minutes on the clock before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting added a fourth in injury time.

With the win, Bayern ended a winless streak of two games. The league leaders sit nine points clear of Borussia Dortmund, who face Gladbach this evening.

At the other end of the table, bottom-placed Fürth are nine points behind Augsburg in the relegation play-off spot.
