Dortmund provide injury update on Reyna and Zagadou

Giovanni Reyna is expected to be back in training within 14 days while Dan-Axel Zagadou will be out for a number of weeks, reveals a Borussia Dortmund statement.
Borussia Dortmund have given an injury update on Giovanni Reyna and Dan-Axel Zagadou after the two players were forced off in Sunday's 6-0 victory over Gladbach.

In a statement on the club's website, Dortmund have allayed fears that Giovanni Reyna has suffered a new long-term injury after recently returning from a long absence.

"Fears of a serious thigh injury to attacking player Gio Reyna were thankfully not proven to be true after thorough diagnostics. The team doctors expect that the US international will be able to take part in team training again within 14 days," reads the statement.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, meanwhile, will be out for "several weeks" after tearing a muscle fibre in his thigh.
