Report: Sabitzer's Bayern future uncertain

Bayern München are reportedly starting to lose patience with Marcel Sabitzer.
Less than a year after his move to Bayern München from RB Leipzig on a four-year deal, Marcel Sabitzer's future with the German champions is uncertain.

According to Kicker, there are doubts at Bayern over the 27-year-old, who has struggled to live up to the expectations this season.

Because of Sabitzer's unconvincing performances and the fact that Corentin Tolisso is out of contract at the end of the season, Bayern have started looking for midfielders, per the German football magazine.

Former Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge criticized Sabitzer last month, telling Sky Germany:

"He was a luxury transfer. He hasn't improved the squad in the way we might have imagined."

Sabitzer's agent since responded, saying:

"If you compare his performances at Leipzig, I think there is a lot of room for improvement.

"He has to fully arrive. Now the first half a year is over.

"He wasn't able to take part in any pre-season activities. Everything was done on the last day. I believe we will see a new Sabitzer in the second half of the season."

Sabitzer has featured 22 times for Bayern without scoring or assisting.
