Report: Leverkusen join Bayern in the race for Bielefeld's Ortega

Kicker reports that Bayer Leverkusen have emerged as suitors for Arminia Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
Bayer Leverkusen have joined the race for Arminia Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega Moreno, according to Kicker.

Ortega is out of contract at the end of the season. Bielefeld would like to keep the 29-year-old goalkeeper, but he is stalling on a new deal.

Should Ortega make the switch to Leverkusen, he would offer competition for their current first-choice goalkeeper, Lukas Hradecky, whose deal expires in 2023.

Bayern München are also said to be showing interest in Ortega, who joined Bielefeld from 1860 München in 2017.
