Flick lauds "intelligent" Musiala
Hansi Flick is a big fan of Bayern starlet Jamal Musiala.
Germany coach Hansi Flick has sung the praises of Bayern München midfielder Jamal Musiala ahead of Saturday's friendly against Israel.
The 19-year-old made his breakthrough for Bayern last season with Flick at the helm and has been a regular part of the national team since making his international debut a year ago.
"He's a very intelligent player who you look for upon winning the ball. The dynamism that he brings when he’s involved in a play is something that he does really well," said Flick and added:
"He always manages to create space for the team. He can play in a deeper central midfield position, but is also a player who is always dangerous in attack."
Musiala has appeared 70 times for Bayern, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists.
