Nkunku and Antony touted as possible replacements for Gnabry

Christopher Nkunku and Antony are being touted as potential replacements for Serge Gnabry at Bayern.
Bayern München have reportedly targeted RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku and Ajax's Antony as possible replacements for Serge Gnabry.

Bayern are in talks with Gnabry about an extension of his current deal, which expires in 2023, but talks have proven complicated.

The parties are still expected to reach an agreement, but Bayern want to be prepared in case their negotiations with Gnabry break down and have therefore started looking for suitable replacements.

According to Bild and Sport1, Bayern are keeping tabs on Christopher Nkunku, who would reportedly cost around €70 million.

Per a report from Sky Germany, however, Nkunku would prefer a move to either England or Spain, having already received inquiries from both countries.

Ajax winger Antony, who was already linked with Bayern last year, is said to be another candidate, although he also seems more keen on a move to the Premier League or La Liga.

"Ajax is the place where I feel happy. But of course I sometimes think about the next step that will come. I think the English and Spanish competitions are wonderful. When the time is right, I hope to be able to play there. When exactly? Only God knows," Antony told Telegraaf in February.
