Ancelotti wanted to bring Koulibaly to Bayern
Apparently, Carlo Ancelotti wanted to sign Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly during his time as Bayern München coach.
Carlo Ancelotti was keen on bringing Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly to Bayern München during his time at the Allianz Arena, says Giorgio Ciaschini who worked as a scout for the Bavarians under the Italian coach.

According to Ciaschini, Ancelotti would still be coaching Bayern if a transfer had materialised.
"We talked about him during our time at Bayern München. If Koulibaly had come to Germany, we would probably still be working in the Bundesliga. I think he's a fundamental player for Napoli," he told A Tutto Napoli.
Ancelotti, who worked as Bayern coach from July 2016 until he was sacked in September 2017, has been coaching Napoli since May 2018 and can now enjoy having the strong centre-back at his disposal.
